Hello my name is Peter Dragon and welcome to my Trails in the Sand.

I’m going to be writing about a variety of topics here. I’m not really sure where this blog is going to head but I want to let it grow into its full potential. I’m a professional software developer and have been working with computers for close to 20 years. I suspect many of the articles here will center on computers, the Internet, software development and technology. I plan to publish a series of “Trails”. Each Trail will be an account of my experience working with a piece of technology or writing a software application or any other subject of interest.

My first series of posts will talk about my experiences with finding a decent service to host this blog.

I’m still working on the layout for this site so please excuse the construction in the mean time.
